Adventure Santa Goes to Hollywood!!
What a fun trip! Adventure Santa joined us and even though we did not have the kids along, it was still very fun to bring this little guy with to add a little youthful fun to our time together.
Adventure Santa (with us in tow) made a visit to Malibu for a walk on the beach and to see the sunset on the first day. It was amazing to see the sun set over the ocean and really interesting to watch a fleet of fishing trawlers right off the beach.

Adventure Santa had a busy second day.  We made our way to Runyon Canyon and did a small hike to get some views of the city, part trail/part paved. After a quick stop to see the Hollywood Bowl, we made our way over to the Griffith Observatory. A trip to Hollywood is not complete without seeing “the sign” and we found the best place to do this at was from the Griffith Observatory.  Interesting tidbit - The sign used to say "Hollywoodland" and was originally erected to promote a housing development. As we toured the Observatory, Sean nerded out for the next hour or so learning about stars, light, the galaxy, how seafarers were able to find their latitude using the north star, and we were excited for the chance we had to see a live demonstration of a Tesla coil! If you make a trip to Hollywood, we highly recommend this beautiful and educational stop!

A visit to CA for a MN couple requires a stop at an In ‘n’ Out Burger, where we seriously pondered the reason for them not having locations in MN. Does anyone know?  Adventure Santa continued to join us for the day of being touristy and for a visit to the Walk of the Stars! Street performers, the wide variety of Stars with names in the sidewalk and a visit to the Mann Chinese theater provided for an afternoon of people watching and enjoying ‘being a tourist’. This day with Adventure Santa was a fun lead up to setting up for the main reason for the trip, Santa’s Secret Workshop!

Santa's Secret Workshop
We were honored to participate in Santa's secret workshop put on by Bill Horn and Scout Masterson, a.k.a the Gunkles. This is a show that benefits LA Family Housing where families are able to visit Santa Claus, hang out and celebrate the holidays. It didn’t hurt that a few of them were famous. We were there to introduce Adventure Santa and.... They loved it!

“We love the #adventuresanta - it’s a really inspiring idea, made with such heart and imagination. Thank you!!! - Noah Bean”

We had a great day meeting really nice people, enjoying their beautiful families experience Santa and the “snow” that came with him, and providing them the opportunity for Fun.Family.Memories with Adventure Santa this holiday season. There are too many to list but enjoy the pictures below.  A few of the kids immediately grabbed their Adventure Santa and enjoyed carrying him around with them!
